Mark has been practicing architecture for over thirty years and has been principal of Mark Gould Architect since 1991. Prior to starting his own practice, he worked for nearly ten years as a project architect for two prominent New York firms on a broad range of building types. Mark’s work with projects of all sizes for corporate, institutional, health care, research, mixed use, recreational, retail and residential clients allows him to bring a wealth of experience to every project. Mark leads the project team to ensure that the business and esthetic objectives are translated appropriately to a physical design.
Mark’s background in art and his real construction experience allow him to focus on the essential acts of form-making and detailing that are critical to the successful completion of every project. Mark graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Art and is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Mark is the chairman of the zoning board and vice-chairman of the planning board for Weehawken, New Jersey, where he and his family reside.
